CIA Boys & Girls Soccer finding their stride

Congrats to the CIA Boy’s soccer team who played their best game of the season on Saturday night vs Sundial. They had lots of early chances and had 2 goals called back on off-sides. Sundial then scored to take the lead 1-0. This fired up our boys and they quickly tied the game and went into the half 2-2. They came out on fire in the 2nd half and dominated play, winning 7-3! Shamar scored a beauty late goal starting in his own end, and out running and going around half of the Sundial team single handily before sliding in a goal that was one for the ages!

Despite a score of 0-0, the CIA Girls held on strong and created a flurry of opportunities throughout the game last Saturday evening. They came out as a team from the get go and showed their resolve when LU tried to get through our defense. Lia, in goals for the first time this season, made some key saves that kept CIA’s spirits high. Great job ladies! See you next Friday evening at 6PM at Raoul Illidge when CIA will face MAC. Don’t miss it.
